Covid-19 worsens health inequalities

The covid-19 pandemic has worsened health inequalities all around the world, but it has not affected all countries equally. The United Kingdom and Spain experienced the highest rates of excess deaths during the first wave of the pandemic in Europe. This is the result of the management of the pandemic as well as prior socioeconomic conditions and existing inequalities. Actually, the areas where infant mortality in 1850 were worst are the same where Covid-19 had its biggest effects.

How can we reduce electricity bills?

The price of electricity is very high and is destined to increase; this is without taking into account the fact that we are yet to start winter. Will I have to spend all my salary on paying the electricity bill? These maximum price peaks only occur in a certain time slot between 9 pm and 10 pm, when consumption by citizens is highest. This does not mean that the price of electricity will not change during the other time slots, but it will be cheaper.

Strike at Renfe: consequence of poor political management of rail transport

Between 30th September and 12th October, several strike days were called which affect Renfe throughout Spain. The causes indicated by the Semaf Machinery Union as a cause of the strike affect their working conditions, the availability of trains and the transfer of Renfe's powers to the Autonomous Communities that request it.
